Role overview
A UK creative media studio is looking for a Senior Paid Media Executive who understands that performance isn't just about putting budget behind content. You'll help plan, build, manage and optimise paid campaigns across the key digital platforms, working closely with the strategy, creative, social, design and web teams so that paid media is part of the thinking from the start, not added once the creative is finished.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning, set-up, launch and ongoing management of paid media campaigns
- Build and manage campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant channels
- Manage budgets, pacing, audiences, targeting, placements and bids against agreed objectives
- Make sure campaigns are correctly structured, tracked and implemented
- Analyse performance, work out what is working and why, and make informed optimisation decisions
- Test audiences, creative, messaging, formats and landing pages, building a culture of continuous testing
- Track reach, engagement, traffic, leads, conversions, CPA, ROAS and other relevant KPIs
- Contribute to paid media strategies and channel plans, and research audiences, competitors and markets
- Feed performance insight back into the creative process and brief creative teams with useful audience insight
- Produce clear campaign reporting that turns data into a story for internal teams and clients
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience with paid social and/or paid search campaigns
- A good understanding of platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
- An understanding of campaign objectives, audiences, targeting and optimisation
- Confidence working with performance data and analytics
- Strong attention to detail, and good numerical and analytical skills
- An understanding of how creative affects paid performance
- The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
- Good communication skills and the confidence to contribute ideas
Desirable
- Formal platform certifications (useful, but curiosity, commercial awareness and critical thinking matter more)
About you
- Naturally curious, commercially minded and comfortable asking questions
- You don't need to know everything, but you want to understand why: why an audience responded, why one piece of creative beat another, why a campaign drove traffic but not conversions
- Comfortable working in a creative environment
- Willing to learn and develop across different channels
The package
- £30,000 – £40,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, with core hours of 10:00 – 15:30 and your choice of when to work the other three hours
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and your birthday off
- Laptop and the equipment you need for the role
- Continuous training and development from the Creative Director
- Genuine role progression as the agency grows
- Sick day allowance and pension contributions
- A creative and stimulating office environment
About the business
A creative media studio with offices in Leeds and London, bringing strategy, imagery, film, design, web and social together under one roof. It was founded on a simple observation: good work often gets worse at the handovers. Strategy comes first: they decide what needs to be said before deciding how to say it, then plan the creative and media together. This role is based in the Leeds office.
